Panasonic FX-400 series of digital fiber sensors is a simple, easy to use sensor that does not compromise functionality. Much work has been done to provide a sensor that beginners can operate out of the box that has some of the useful functions found in high-end units. The LED light source of the FX-400 series has been increased to 1.5X that of previous models. This allows for greater resistance to dust, dirt, etc. so that less time needs to be spent on maintenance. Long-term stability is ensured by using a four-chemical emitting element in combination with a built-in auto power control circuit (APC).
